WTBF is a community involved station. The
popular Morning Show has supported community activities Monday thru
Saturday mornings for over 50 years. WTBF AM 970 has recently gone
to an "All Talk" format wit popular talk show hosts like Laura
Ingraham, Rush Limbaugh, and Clark Howard. WTBF 94.7 FM shares the Morning Show
until 9:00 AM. Dave "Doc" Kirby plays all your favorite hits to
listen to on the ride home on " "Driving home With Doc" from 4 - 6
PM. ABC's Timeless Favorites is the featured music for the rest of
the 24 hour period. Paul Harvey News & The Rest of the Story are
weekday
events.

AM & FM cover much of Southeast Alabama. Pike County is our county
of license. Population is around 30,000 plus 5,000 students enrolled
at Troy State University. Troy, the largest city, is located 50
miles south of Montgomery and 60 miles northeast of Dothan. US 231
is the main corridor through this city for Middle America and Canada
to I-10 and South Florida both ways. Over 16 million people pass
through this city every year. Small industry, military support
facilities, agriculture and state government
facilities account for over $563 million in annual wages in Pike County alone.
