September The City of Troy has a special cleanup in District 6, 'Johnny Witheringtons' Disctrict, this month. You can dispose of large items-furniture, appliances, junk autos, etc. for free. call 566-1133 for pickup.

Batting cages are open at the Troy Sportsplex Monday evenings 3 to 8 and by special arrangement.

The Red Cross has issued an urgent call for blood donors! ALL blood types are needed buy ESPECIALLY those with type O Negative. Each whole blood donation can save up to three lives. Call 1-800-REDCROSS to make an appointment.
